a:nw is delighted to be assisting in the technical design for a new 4 storey Higher Education fit out at the Olympic Park site in East London working together with Paragon Interiors.

Handover and building control approval at Anglia Ruskin University

There are still some packages to be completed, principally the external rain screen, but otherwise the renovated and adapted building is being handed over to the university in time for the Christmas break for their FFE fit out. The following are some photos of the spaces nearing completion and some of the rooms in use from the partial possession of the upper floors a couple of months ago.
One section of the rain screen nearly complete, the following shows there is a few weeks to go on the sports hall.Decoration is close to completion within though.
The cafe space – originally the road way into the undercroft car park waiting for the FFE, vending and servery fit out. The remainder of the undercroft now being kitted out as Sports Physiology laboratories.One of the six recording studios and the main ‘live room’ that coupled with two lecture theatres, as well as computer science and electronics classrooms and laboratories, form the core of the accommodation on the first floor.Student break out space, on the second floor alongside the computer gaming technology department.A standard classroom in the department.

House remodelling in Warwickshire

Two months further to receiving planning and with the construction design near complete, the works have started on site this week for this exciting house remodelling project. Hopefully some photos in the near future, but in the meantime some drawings….

Planning Permission granted for house remodelling in Warwickshire

Planning received for an extensive house remodelling to create a three storey five bedroom family home. Permission was granted this week to adapt the existing two storey home, by placing a new roof on the building as well as a two storey side extension and single storey front and rear extensions. Detailed design is now continuing.

Frame Up in Cambridge

Steel frame up at Anglia Ruskin University, floor slab being completed and external walls due to start. In the meantime the upper floors are now occupied and in use by the students.

Fit-out close to completion and undercroft works progressing at Anglia Ruskin

Internal upper floor fit out completing in stages over the next few days. You can see one of the recording desks (under wraps) fitted in one of the new control rooms below, with window to one of the live rooms beyond. The slab and low level masonry is under way in the undercroft area for the sports and physio sciences. Steel work for the extension starts next week.
